National Cell for Women, Childhood and Family Affairs — South-East Wilayas
Ten wilayas on one map, 26 documented initiatives, an animated 'Oasis' design and a news publishing space
This website was built through the Mustashar Nonprofit Initiative.

The website of the National Cell for Women, Childhood and Family Affairs for the south-eastern wilayas, part of the Ataa organisation, built within Mustashar's non-profit initiative. It maps the cell's ten wilayas, documents 26 initiatives since January 2026, published by the cell itself from an admin space, and explains the family registration file, in-kind giving and volunteering through ready-made WhatsApp messages.
The need
A specialised body of the National Organization Ataa for Solidarity & Humanitarian Action, the cell covers ten south-eastern wilayas and has run its field work from the municipality of Tebesbest in Touggourt since January 2026. Saturday vegetable baskets, Ramadan food baskets, Eid clothes, school bags and relief caravans piled up on a young Facebook page, with no place to present the cell, show families how to register or tell donors how to help.
What we built
We built an identity of oasis green for dark bands and rose pink for the «Contribute» buttons, taken from the organisation's emblem and the cell's own infographic, with Reem Kufi headlines. A map of the ten wilayas highlights Touggourt as the field base, and the cell's work is organised into six fields and eight seasons of the year, with a dedicated card for the registration file. All 27 initiatives have their own pages, with a «Signature initiatives» block and a 133-photo gallery. A «What suits you?» guide and an in-kind giving builder compose ready-made WhatsApp messages without collecting any data. In October 2026 the site was redesigned in the 'Oasis' identity: sand-coloured pages, Saharan-arch photo frames, a rug ribbon of rose and gold lozenges in the header and footer, Alexandria, Almarai and Amiri type, animated slideshows and film strips that stop under the reduced-motion preference, and an admin space to publish and edit the news.
What sets this website apart?
Map of the ten wilayas
A vector map built on administrative boundaries (geoBoundaries) pins Ouargla, El Oued, Touggourt, Ghardaïa, El M'Ghair, El Meniaa, Biskra, Illizi, Tamanrasset and Djanet, with Touggourt marked as the field base.
26 documented initiatives
Initiatives from January to October 2026, each on its own page with photos and key facts, filtered by seven themes plus a «featured» filter.
News publishing space
A protected login in the header lets cell members add, edit and delete news with photos, published instantly on the home page, the news page and the initiative pages.
Quiet oasis-style motion
Slow-zoom slideshows inside Saharan arches, film strips sliding in two directions that pause on hover, and a 'latest activity' card rotating through recent news; all switched off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
Signature initiatives
A block on the homepage and news page, led by the El Oued-to-Guelma relief caravan for wildfire victims, followed by Women's Day, the children's celebration and the back-to-school drive.
Family registration file
A card sets out who is eligible (widows, orphans, divorced women, people with disabilities, low-income patients), the five documents required and the token annual fee, with a button to send the request.
A «What suits you?» guide
Five paths on the Join page: volunteering, joining the organisation, registering a family, giving in kind and reporting a case; each form prepares a WhatsApp or Messenger message, or text to copy.
Targeted in-kind giving
Donors choose among eight kinds of help — school bags, clothes, food, baby milk, medicine, bedding, a project for a woman supporting her family, or «where the need is greatest» — then send a WhatsApp message to arrange drop-off, with no bank details involved.
A campaign for every season
A rail links eight seasons to their campaigns: Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Women's Day, Eid al-Adha, summer relief caravans, back to school, Pink October and the Saturday vegetable basket.
Gallery with a spotlight show
The initiatives gallery opens with a 19-slide captioned show leading to each activity's page, with thumbnails, a progress bar and animated filtering.
